Pointel was founded by hospitality professionals who believe independent hospitality brands deserve the same ability to build guest loyalty as the world's largest hotel groups.
After seeing first-hand how much hotels spend acquiring guests through third-party booking platforms, we recognised a fundamental challenge: while global chains benefit from sophisticated loyalty ecosystems that encourage repeat business, many independent properties are left paying a hidden commission tax every time a guest returns.
We created Pointel to help change that. Our mission is to empower hospitality brands to strengthen guest relationships, encourage direct bookings and build lasting loyalty through a shared rewards network designed specifically for independent hospitality.
Most importantly, hospitality brands remain in control. Pointel is designed to support the relationship between a property and its guests—not replace it—allowing hotels to choose their own rewards, maintain their unique identity and retain ownership of the guest experience from booking to checkout and beyond.
